Since a young age, I have worked with various forms of art. I studied at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and have shown my work at many galleries in the Denver metro area. I paint on a large scale, because I need the challenge it presents and savor the look of the finished pieces. All of my models are family and friends. I like to take these people I know well out of their own context by changing their usual clothes and posing them in ways they would never be seen in their day to day lives. The result is a story I want to tell, a reflection of my own life experiences and my personal search for meaning. I rarely tell anyone the story behind a painting; I believe the story a viewer reads into my work is as important as my own. I hope you enjoy my work.
