Terry Campbell is an artist and prankster who has been active in the Denver Metro area for the past two decades. His enduring fascination with storytelling is reflected in his work, primarily created with oil paint, his figurative paintings weave narratives that invite viewers into realms of mystery.
In addition to his paintings, Terry has developed four interactive gold hunts, engaging participants in an adventurous journey where they must solve clues while navigating the unusual. Over the past few years, he has produced thousands of small, experimental drawings that often incorporate humorous elements. Each drawing is unique, allowing individuals to acquire original works at accessible prices.
Terry earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Art Education from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) in 2005, followed by a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2016. His artistic journey includes being a member of Pirate Gallery co-op from 2005 to 2012 and serving as an artist-in-residence at Redline Denver from 2009 to 2012. His work has garnered attention, being featured in the Denver Post, Westword and Studio Visit. This October he will have his second sole show at Dateline showcasing hundreds of drawings.
